ahh, the princess diaries... such great memories of my childhood. i really love this movie and to me, its a classic. anne hathaway's first real break out as an actress and she was actually really good haha. its funny how i just said i dont like a lot of movies with her in it and then i just watched another one, but hey... oh well. and julie andrews... oh my god i love her. she is probably up there in my list of favorite actresses. she reminds me so much of my granny sometimes. even though its not as funny as it used to be when i was little ill still give it 4.8 out of 5 stars.

my husband got me the second season of sex and the city and i can't tell you how happy that makes me. of course i've seen it already but its just the kind of show that you can watch over and over. well, for me anyway. i guess thats why its my favorite. carrie bradshaw has got to be my favorite ever charactor on tv. she fabulous. 5 out of 5 stars always.

i had a scream marathon with alex last night! and while i could just do my opinion of each of them, they are all pretty much the same movie so ill just do them together. =] i really do love the scream movies, i have since i was little. i wish i could not know who the killers were again because it makes it that much better. i love that throughout the whole movie they act like they arent in a movie, saying all the rules for horror movies and how to survive, oh and the line "this isn't a movie, this is real life." its great. also, i havent seen the third one in years so i didnt realize who all the actors were until now. it was a pleseant surprise to see patrick dempsey and the mom from gossip girl. i don't know her real name. haha. but anyway scream is 4.5 out of 5 stars for me, i don't care how cheesy they are.



another movie:



okay i seriously thought about not even putting this movie on here. i dont really have much to say about it except it sucked really bad and don't watch it. i was COMPLETELY boring. the person i watched it with was probably getting annoyed by me because of how many time i complained about how boring it was. and now that i think about it (not counting devil wears prada and princess diaries) almost everything i've seen anne hathaway in i've hated. anyway, im talking more about this movie then i wanted to. im not going to even star it.

time travelers wife & gossip girl.

i watched the time travelers wife last night before i went to bed. i heard really good things about it so i figured id watch it. i havent read the book or anything... i tried to once but i didnt get very far. i actually really liked the movie. the beginning was kind of slow but i think i would have been even more confused if it went faster. i just really hated eric bana, the guy who played the main person in it. bleh, he was cute and his hair was terrible most of the time. haha, im really picky about the men in my movies... but i give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars.

i just finished the second season of gossip girl, and now that im almost caught up im going to have to watch them online... im not a fan of that. but i thought it was really good. season one was better in my opinion but i still can't wait to start the next one. i dont really have much to say about it except... dan is still effing hot.

had date day with my husband and we went to see from paris with love. honestly the whole first half hour i had NO clue what was going on. it was a bunch of john travolta getting shot at a billion times and not getting hit and pretty much being a major badass. hes a good actor... considering he also played a woman in a musical... but anyway, i thought it was actually really good after i realized what was going on. it was a really good action movie, the best one i've seen since taken and gran torino. i give it 4 out of 5 stars.


movie number 2:


also saw valentines day. a lot of people i knew had seen it and said it was really good. but, i dont know.. i thought it was good. not REALLY good, but good. i dont regret seeing it and i enjoyed it for the most part. a lot of it bored me though. and im still baffled as to how they got so many huge actors and actresses in it. plus taylor swift haha. which, i dont care what anyone says... she played her part perfectly. anyway... it was a 3.5 out of 5 stars for me.



movie number 3:


i had seen parts of wrong turn before but i wanted to see the whole thing so me and my friend alex decided to watch it the other night. the weird thing about scary movies is that most of the time when you are watching it you just laugh and take it as a joke.. but after its over and you have to use the bathroom alone and drive home by yourself its a very scary thing. haha, but yeah wrong turn was pretty much the normal scary movie. a bunch of young adults get killed in vicious ways by some crazy dudes. and if your charactor is named francine... you have to expect to be killed early on. 3.5 out of 5 stars.



and last but not least, actually yeah... it was least:


well, in order to not be too scared to drive home after wrong turn i had to watch another movie i thought would be less scary... so out of all of alexs old vhs tapes we picked pacific heights. it was a really weird story. no, a really bad story. psyco dude doesnt pay rent and other dude gets pissed and gets shot. and melanie griffith, who really really resembled meg ryan throughout the whole movie, she was just manly. bleh i dont know, a good movie to watch if you wanna make fun of something the whole time. but really 1.5 out of 5 stars.

dear john and the o.c.

i went to see dear john yesterday after work, and i was very disappointed. it did not live up to its hype at all. i actually found it boring and long. channing tatums character had no personality whatsoever. even if he was supposed to, it was still awful. and all i could think of the whole time was amanda seyfried grabbing her boobs and predicting the weather. i don't know, i just wasn't what i expected. i did almost cry at one part, but i don't know... it wasn't worth seeing. i give it a 1.5 out of 5 stars.

me and my friend alex have been watching this for a while. we finally finished the first season like 2 nights ago. ive seen it before but its just so good. just as good the second time as the first time. its a show where you really really get attached to the charaters. bahh so good, i can't wait to watch the second one to see how alex reacts. its one of those shows thats way too dramatic and nothing about it could happen in real life. at least not all of it to one single person. but anyway, the o.c. deff gets a 4.5 out of 5 stars for me.



when i went to the movies yesterday one of the preveiws was sex and the city the movie 2. i can't even explain how excited i am about that. im obsessed with sex and the city. YAY.

well i was working yesterday (at target) and i saw a bunch of movies that were only 5 dollars. i wanted a new movie so i bought this one. i've never seen it, but i've always heard it was good. i didn't want to buy a movie i'd already seen a thousand times so yeah. but anyway, i thought it was really good. it was the predictable romantic comedy where she falls in love with a guy, then he finds out something bad and stops talking to her and the realizes he loves her too then they get together and its a happy ending. and thats fine and all, but i really like sad endings haha. i wish he would have just left her standing in the middle of the baseball field. im awful. but it was a good movie, lots of funny things and apparently im on a drew berrymore kick. but i give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.




t.v. show of the moment:



i never really got in to gossip girl, i thought it would be too girly for me.. plus i think blake lively is a bit weird looking. but i started watching it last night and although im only 4 episodes in i think its really good. i didn't want to stop watching and i had to know what happened next. plus, whoever plays dan is SUPER sexy. yeah, for sure mouth watering. but i don't have much to say about it because like i said, i've only seen four episodes. but so far... its real good.

vacation.

well, we didn't really watch movies while we were gone. but... we did watch one.





i've seen this movie SO many times, and i still laugh every time. its such a great movie and drew berrymore is so good in it. although, she does look ugly most of the time. i would for sure consider this one of my favorite movies. its a great story. i read the book a long time ago too, but it was a little boring. haha, oh well.. thats why you read the book before you watch the movie. but i give this movie 5 out of 5 stars. i love it!



also, i finished desperate housewives. i actually finished it before i left but didn't really have a chance to update on it. it was a pretty good ending, but not a huge wow. i really suck at figuring things out so i missed a lot of stuff until it actually told me what happened. still wasnt hugly impressed.

im probably going to go lay in bed and watch a movie in a little bit... so ill update again either tonight or tomorrow. bye!

whatever works

last night i watched the movie whatever works with my husband. i usually really really like woody allen movies, and you could definitely tell this was a woody allen movie. well, i thought it was boring. it was really hard to watch the whole thing and i didn't like any of the actors in it. well, except for her mom played by patricia clarkson. shes good in pretty much everything shes in. but bleh, i hated the main guy played by larry david. i hated him as an actor and as his charactor. not sure why, but he annoyed me. and im not a huge fan of evan rachel wood either. lol, i only watched this because its what aaron brought home, well and like i said... i usually like woody allen. but anyway, my husband really enjoyed it so i guess its likeable. anyway, in my opinion 1.5 out of 5.




no tv show of the moment just because i'm still watching desperate housewives. only four episodes left though, so i'll update when im completly finished.

also, i'm going on vacation tomorrow night and wont be back until late on monday the 8th. so ill try to remember all the movies i watch while i'm gone and ill update about them when i get back.

saw 6 and desperate housewives

i just watched saw 6 last night with my husband for date night. of course there were a lot of twists and turns and what happens next. the gore was most deff not as horrible as it had been in the previous ones. trust me, i know because i have to close my eyes lol. anyway, there were a lot of good ideas for the torture devices and lots of people dying. but saying that, i give it 3 out of 5 stars. just because i cant help but compare to to the previous saws. the first three were pretty much amazing, but the last three have been not so great. there wasn't a huge OMG moment in this movie like the first one. or the second one. or the third one. haha. but, it was pretty good. if you've watched the saws i would for sure recommend this just because it tells you what happens next in the story. it wasn't disappointing, but also wasn't great.

this is another tv on dvd my friend let me borrow. its really not at all that i thought it was. the best way to describe it would be a book my grandma would read about forbidden romance and a huge mystery you are waiting to unravel. i really thought it was a bunch of housewives unhappy with their husband who all cheated on them to get fulfilled. but, its not at all.. in fact only one of them cheats haha. the show is basically about a huge mystery... and that's all. in my opinion, it's for sure not the best show i've seen but i will continue watching it. just to see what happens haha. i would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars, just because its a little out there, not really something that could happen in real life. well, i guess it could... but its hard to believe.
